Do you know how to write prose, but have always been interested in writing for screen?
Before I became an author, I spent nearly a decade working as a script editor for film and television. After completing a Diploma in Script Development with the prestigious NFTS, I worked for companies such as Aardman, Working Title, Pathe, the BFI, Red Planet Pictures and Imaginarium Studios. I currently freelance as a script editor for a select group of international clients and teach about scriptwriting and writing filmically for a variety of institutions, including the University of Cambridge’s ICE.
I’ve been wanting to combine my three passions - novels, scripts, and working with talented writers - for some time… and now I’ve found a way!
I’m so excited to present this course, designed specifically for novelists who want to translate their skills and voices to the screen.
"Gives you a whole new perspective on approaching writing, both for the screen, but also writing in general.”
- Sophie Cousens, New York Times bestselling author
